Youth Art Month
March was an exciting month for Black Hawk students. In addition to Spring Fling week and musical guests we had the opportunity to have an artist in residence. This opportunity was made possible due to funds from a generous silent donor and Diane Goodrich who opened her home to the artist, Beau Thomas. Mr. Thomas painted a colorful mural on our entrance wall to greet us each morning. Mr. Thomas also spent time with students sharing his journey to becoming a professional artist. The whole experience was inspiring and the mural will continue to inspire for years to come!
